Graham has been an actor for over 40 years working everywhere from The Royal Court and the National Theatre to acting alongside Rambo and Rocky Balboa. He is best known for his portrayals of Dougal MacKenzie in Outlander, Dwalin in The Hobbit trilogy and Ser Harrold Westerling in House of the Dragon.

His writing includes producing and performing his own play about Vincent Van Gogh, as well as being a New York Times and Sunday times best selling author for Clanlands. He has written two other books with Sam Heughan, The Clanlands Almanac and Clanlands in New Zealand. He lives between Paris and New Zealand.
