Tamsyn is an award-winning Casting Director with extensive experience across British and international feature films, television series and independent productions.
Having initially studied Stage Management at RADA, Tamsyn began her career at Markham, Froggatt & Irwin, where she worked as an agent’s assistant for six years, also establishing the agency’s in-house press and publicity department, which continues to run today. In 2015, she moved into casting, working extensively with Reg Poerscout-Edgerton and Amy Hubbard on projects ranging from Jimmy McGovern’s BBC series BROKEN to ROCKETMAN, Marvel’s ETERNALS and MOON KNIGHT.
Since launching her own casting office in June 2021, she has worked across a variety of projects as Casting Director or UK Casting, with credits including WICKED: PART 1 and WICKED: FOR GOOD (Universal Pictures/Marc Platt Productions), BEST INTERESTS (BBC/Chapter One), GIRL GROUP (FAE/Live Nation Studios) and CUCKOO (Neon/Waypoint/Fiction Park), alongside short films and development work. She most recently completed casting on David Leitch’s JASON STATHAM STOLE MY BIKE (87North/Black Bear UK), as well as UK Casting for the UNTITLED MUMMY PROJECT (Universal Pictures/Hivemind). Her work as UK Casting Director on WICKED: PART 1 earned her the CSA Artios Award for Outstanding Achievement in Casting. Tamsyn is also a voting member of BAFTA and BIFA (British Independent Film Awards).
